Easter Egg Scramble

The Marietta Parks & Recreation Department will host the City's Annual Easter Egg Scramble on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Laurel Park located at 151 Manning Road.

 

Children 10 and under are invited to attend this event and will be divided into three age groups for the hunt: 3 and under, 4-6, and 7-10 years old. Additionally, the Easter Bunny will be available for photographs after the Egg Scramble. The event is free, and the public is encouraged to arrive early to find your child's correct age group.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny is stopping by Hunter Park for breakfast soon and wants you to join! During the breakfast the Bunny will be hopping around visiting with guests and taking pictures (remember to bring your camera).

 

Following breakfast hundreds of Easter eggs will decorate our lawn for children to run and collect. The egg hunts will be separated into three different age groups (0-4, 5-8, & 9-12).

 

There will be prizes for golden eggs, raffles, and candy. This is an event that all the family can enjoy. There are a limited number of seats available until the event is sold out, so make sure that you register in advance. Treat your family to a buffet including hot and ready pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage as well as a medley of fresh fruit and delicious breakfast sweets. Everyone's favorite cottontail will be making his way from table to table to say hello to all the boys and girls.

 

Be sure to bring your camera to capture all the memories. Seatings are available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Tickets are only $6 per person and can be purchased online at www.kennesawparksandrec.com or at the Ben Robertson Community Center beginning January 4. Advance purchase is required. Tickets are non-refundable after March 11.

Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop

Bring the whole family out for the 8th Annual Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop presented by Piedmont Church, Superior Plumbing and get ready as more than 90,000 eggs and pieces of candy are spread out and dropped from a helicopter at the football fields at Sprayberry High School April 15, 2017!

 

The event begins at 10 a.m., and in addition to gathering up all the eggs, there will be candy, face painting and the Three-13 Salon, Spa and Boutique Kids Zone with inflatable slides and bounce houses for the toddlers and the older thrill seekers alike, unlimited rides can be purchased for only $7 per child. Also plan to have your photo taken for free with the Easter Bunny courtesy of LGE Community Credit Union. Capture the memories for a lifetime!

 

In between the Egg Hunts you and your kids will be doubled over in laughter watching LEW-E’s Comedy Circus Act. Free admission and ample free parking will be available at Sprayberry High School. Food will also be available to purchase from the Sprayberry Football Booster Club and all other proceeds from the event go to support both the Shop with a Yellow Jacket and the Shop with a Longhorn programs for Sprayberry and Kell High Schools respectively.

 

The Cobb EMC Egg Hunts will get started around the football field at 11:30 a.m., as children ages three and under will begin their egg hunt. At 1:30 p.m., a helicopter will fly over and drop thousands of eggs for the four to seven year olds to hunt. At, 3:30 p.m., the children eight to 10, will begin the final hunt.

The third annual LakePoint EggFest is a partnership with LakePoint Sports and area churches to offer a spectacular egg festival for the entire family.

This event is completely FREE. Parents will enjoy the safe, fenced complex as well as clean restrooms at LakePoint Sports Soccer Fields.
