Kick off your Independence Day celebration at Kennesaw State University’s 11th Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular on Saturday, June 30, 2018!

 

This year’s event will be held at a new venue location: Fifth Third Bank Stadium at Kennesaw State University’s Sports + Entertainment Park. Fifth Third Bank Stadium is located near KSU’s campus in Kennesaw, GA at 3200 George Busbee Parkway NW.

 

This free, annual event features a patriotic concert with performances by the KSU Big Band and KSU Summer Orchestra followed by a spectacular fireworks finale.

 

Beginning at 5 p.m., the Family Fun Festival features pre-concert activities including free games, face painting, and balloon artists for kids plus food vendors, exhibitors and vendors from the KSU community and beyond, and more.

Kennesaw's Salute to America

Salute to America eventgoers will be treated to two stages of live music, festive street entertainment, food vendors and plenty of activities for the kids. Admission is FREE.

 

The evening will be capped off with a brilliant fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m. A limited number of tables located in front of the Depot Stage can be reserved for only $75 per table. With the exception of reserved tables, all seating will be general admission, so bring a blanket or comfortable low-back chairs.

The Cartersville Optimist Club presents this annual Independence Day Celebration that begins with The Fourth of July Parade in downtown Cartersville and continues with a community-wide event at Dellinger Park featuring arts & crafts, children’s activities, entertainment and fireworks.

 

The parade begins at 9 AM and is presented by WBHF 100.3 FM/AM 1450, and the Cartersville Optimist Club. For parade information call WBHF 770-386-1450. Parade Route: Begins at Tabernacle Baptist parking lot on Douglas Street, right on Church Street, left on Bartow Street, left on Main Street, left on Stonewall Street, left on Church Street, right on Douglas Street.

 

Festivities at Dellinger Park begin at 4 PM and end with fireworks after 9 PM. Admission is free, parking is $5 per vehicle.

Acworh 4th of July Celebration

Cauble Park - Acworth

 

Festivities will feature live music, food vendors, and fireworks at Cauble Park. Vendors will be open for business starting at noon, live music starts at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting and subject to change).

 

Admission to the concert and fireworks is free! Parking at Cauble Park is by special pass only on July 4, but you are not guaranteed a parking spot at Cauble Park with this pass so please plan on arriving early. Shuttles will be available to bring people down to the park. There will be designated shuttle stops located at City Hall, the Library, and Acworth First Baptist Church.

 

Bring your kayak, stand-up paddleboard or canoe and enjoy a day out on the water leading up to the firework show at dark.
